His parents are János Mohácsi and Piroska Horváth. He took lessons on finance specialisation at Karl Marx University of Economic Sciences between 1979 and 1981 but didn''t finished it. Between 1980 and 1983 he was an amateur director at Mozgó Színház (Moving Theatre).
Between 1983 and 2010 director of Csiky Gergely Theatre, Kaposvár.
He''s directing at Bárka Theatre, National Theatre, Radnóti Miklós Theatre, Vígszínház (Comedy Theatre), Katona József Theatre, Kecskemét, Móricz Zsigmond Theatre, National Theatre of Pécs, Vörösmarty Theatre, and Weöres Sándor Theatre.
His acting class was graduated in 2012 at University of Kaposvár.
