Writer and poet whose work has appeared in The Atlantic Monthly, The New York Times, Poetry, and Glimmer Train, a literary quarterly.
He has an MFA in creative writing from the University of Alabama, and was a Stegner Fellow in poetry at Stanford University. In addition to his native United States, he has lived in China, the Middle East and Europe. He is working on a screenplay set in Ireland and Ethiopia, and a stage work about a 1980s American TV personality.
