Budapest Youth Choirchoir
Our choral group has gone by this name since 1990, although its predecessor came into existence in 1950.
We have about 60 members, who range in age from 18-60+. The chorus sings both masses and oratorios, as well as a cappella works: sacred choral pieces, poetry set to music, and folk song adaptations. Several times in recent years, we have performed with great success e.g. in the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Austria, France. We have participated in numerous CD recordings and we have prepared some albums of our own concerts. The conductor is Ágnes Gerenday.
