Dmitry Skorikov was born in Belyanaya Gora village, the Moscow Region, graduated from the Musical College at the Moscow State Conservatory with a specialization in “Choir Conducting” (training course of Professor I. Agafonnikov), the Schnittke Moscow State Institute of Music with a specialization in “Solo Singing” (training course of Professor A. Belousova). He is a diploma winner of the Bella Voce Competition (2002).
Dmitry Skorikov has been a soloist of Helikon-Opera since 2002. He appears at the best sites of Russia with his solo concerts, performing old romances and folksongs. Dmitry is a regular participant of the TV-program “Romanticism of Romance” on the Kultura TV-channel. Since 2011 he has been a guest soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre, made his debut as Polkan (“The Golden Cockerel” by N. Rimsky-Korsakov).
In 2015 he made his debut on the stage of the Mikhailovsky Theatre (Saint-Petersburg), collaborated with such conductors as G. Rozhdestvensky, M. Pletnev, E. Klas, V. Sinaysky, released a solo disk “The Voice of Heart” (2011).
