Natalya Zagorinskaya was born in Moscow, graduated from the Central School of Music at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory specializing in “Piano” (training course of Professor T. Nikolaeva), the Vocal Department of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory (training course of Professor V. Kudryavtseva-Lemesheva), completed the traineeship and postgraduate studies. She won the “Zolotaya Maska (The Golden Mask)” National Theatre Award for the role of Carmen in the similarly-named opera by G. Bizet (1998). Natalya is a People’s Artist of the Russian Federation (2006).
Natalya Zagorinskaya has been in Helikon-Opera since 1991. She gives concerts as a chamber singer, the 20-21 centuries music interpreter. Natalya participated in the Paris Autumn Festival (France), the Week of Mozart (Austria), the Aldeburgh Festival of Music and the Arts (Great Britain), the international Festivals in Edinburgh (Scotland), Santander (Spain), Colmar (France), the Opera Days at Saaremaa and the Birgitta Festival (Estonia), the festival of Leoš Janáček (Czech Republic). She also appeared on the stage of the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, the Carnegie Hall (USA), the Paris Opera (France), the Konzerthaus and Musikverein (Austria), the Concertgebouw and Musicgebouw (the Netherlands), the Victoria Hall (Switzerland), the Mozarteum (Austria).
