Performers
Bartók Plus Opera Festival hosts world-renowned Hungarian artists as well as stars of the international opera scene. Since its beginnings almost all significant soloists, opera companies and music ensembles from Central Eastern Europe have appeared on its stages at least once. Born in 1962 in Zagreb. Graduated from Classics Programme Secondary School in Zagreb and studied piano at “Pavao Markovac” Secondary School of Music. In 1988 graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts. As a Fulbright scholar, he taught acting to students of singing and graduate students at Rice University in Houston, after which he was invited to teach at the Trinity College of Music in London.
(24 May 1900 – 31 October 1984) was an Italian actor, playwright, screenwriter, author and poet, best known for his Neapolitan works Filumena Marturano and Napoli Milionaria.
He was born in Budapest, in 1954. Jászai Mari Award winning (1994) stage designer, university professor. His brother Csörsz Khell is also a costume- and stage designer.
