Bartók Plus Opera Festival hosts world-renowned Hungarian artists as well as stars of the international opera scene. Since its beginnings almost all significant soloists, opera companies and music ensembles from Central Eastern Europe have appeared on its stages at least once. He was born in Budapest, in 1981. Between 2003 and 2010 studied at Liszt Ferenc Music Academy on opera major.
bassist
The Hungarian bass-baritone, István Kovács was born in 1972. He graduated as a physician and taught at the Medical School of his home town, Pécs, then he went to study singing with László Polgár in Zürich, and Sherman Lowe in Venice.
