Performers
Bartók Plus Opera Festival hosts world-renowned Hungarian artists as well as stars of the international opera scene. Since its beginnings almost all significant soloists, opera companies and music ensembles from Central Eastern Europe have appeared on its stages at least once. She started her musical education in her home town, Debrecen. After the completion of the Zoltán Kodály School, she received her diploma from the Liszt Ferenc Music Academy in Debrecen. In 2000 she received a scholarship from the Budapest Operabarát Foundation and at the same year she debuted in the role of Lola in Mascagni''s Rusticana. She continued her studies in the Opera Studio in the season 2001/2002.
Born: 1969 – Budapest. The Hungarian counter-tenor, Zoltán Gavodi, began his studies as a student of Ilona Adorján in 1989, and continued with Éva Lax and Tünde Szabóki.
