Performers
Bartók Plus Opera Festival hosts world-renowned Hungarian artists as well as stars of the international opera scene. Since its beginnings almost all significant soloists, opera companies and music ensembles from Central Eastern Europe have appeared on its stages at least once. Brigitta Kele, soprano, was born in Romania. Her repertoire includes Pamina in Die Zauberflote (Mozart), Mimi and Musetta in La boheme (Puccini), Micaela in Carmen (Bizet), Amelia in Un ballo in maschera (Verdi), Sylva in Die Csardasfurstin (Kalman), Nedda in Pagliacci (Leoncavallo) and other roles.
